The CreativeJourneyStarts Story
From a small Alexandria studio to Egypt's leading 3D modeling education platform — discover how we've shaped the future of game development learning since 2018.
The Beginning
What started as late-night conversations between three game developers in a cramped Alexandria apartment became something bigger. We noticed talented artists struggling to break into the industry — not because they lacked creativity, but because they missed the technical foundation that studios actually needed. The first CreativeJourneyStarts course had twelve students crowded around two computers, learning Blender basics while we figured out teaching on the fly.
Growing Recognition
By 2021, something clicked. Our alumni started landing positions at regional studios, and word spread through Egypt's growing gaming community. We'd moved into a proper facility and developed our signature project-based approach — students weren't just learning tools, they were building actual game assets that ended up in published titles. The pandemic forced us online, but it opened doors to students across the Middle East who couldn't access quality 3D education locally.
Looking Forward
Today, we're planning our most ambitious expansion yet. The game industry in MENA is exploding, and we're preparing comprehensive programs that will launch in late 2025. We're talking partnerships with international studios, advanced specializations in character design and environment art, and mentorship programs connecting our students directly with industry professionals. The foundation we built in that tiny apartment is ready to support the next generation of Middle Eastern game developers.
What Drives Us
Industry Focus
We don't teach generic 3D modeling. Every lesson connects directly to what game studios actually need, from optimized topology to texture workflow that meets production standards.
Community First
Learning happens best when people support each other. Our students become lifelong connections, collaborating on projects and sharing opportunities long after graduation.
Practical Skills
Theory matters, but portfolio pieces get you hired. We emphasize hands-on projects that demonstrate real competency to potential employers and clients.
Building Tomorrow's Creators
The Middle East is becoming a major player in global game development, and we want to make sure local talent leads that charge. Our students don't just learn software — they develop the creative problem-solving skills that make great 3D artists indispensable to any production team.
